Demolition and renovation of a municipal facility in Little Falls, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,070-square-foot municipal facility; and for the demolition of a 61,500-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.

Sealed bids will be received for the contract entitled BOE Office Renovations at School #1. Bidders must submit one original and one copy of the bid in a sealed envelope clearly identified with the project name. Bid Documents must be obtained through the specified website, and contractors must register to be included on the bidder's list. Bidders must purchase documents for a non-refundable fee for paper copies, but digital copies are available at no cost. Bids must be made on provided forms and accompanied by bid security as described in the instructions. Each bidder must submit a Certificate of Consent of Surety indicating the provision of performance/payment bonds if awarded the contract. Bidders must be prequalified in categories C008, C009, C030, C032, and C047. All subcontractors and bidders must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Department of Treasury. Bidders must comply with employment and minimum wage requirements, the Law Against Discrimination, Affirmative Action, and other applicable statutes. A pre-bid conference is recommended. Technical questions should be submitted through the BidBox portal. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informality in the bidding. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual opening date. The new work generally consists of interior alterations and renovations to the Board of Education area. The scope includes, but is not limited to, installation of new partitions and associated framing, doors and hardware, interior finishes, painting, ceiling grid and ceiling tiles, flooring, and casework. Work also includes modifications and upgrades to the plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems, including relocation of devices and fixtures as required to accommodate the revised layout.
