Main Street, Little Falls, NJ 07424, and all work incidental thereto as indicated in and in accordance with the project documents. Sealed bids must be submitted as a single prime contract. Bids must be submitted using the bid proposal form and bid forms provided in the project specifications, in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the project. Bids will not be accepted after the designated time. The bidder is responsible for ensuring the bid proposals are delivered prior to the deadline. Bids will not be received by facsimile or electronic transmission. Contractors must abide by any applicable Executive Orders, Rules, and both Federal and State law pertaining to safety precautions as a result of COVID. No modifications to the enclosed Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions, Specifications, or Drawings are allowed prior to bid acceptance except as permitted by amendment. Bids proposing such modifications may be rejected as non-responsive. Bids must be for one price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. The bidding contractor shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction as of the date and time of the bid opening in one of the specified disciplines, or must contract with properly classified subcontractors as stipulated. Business Registration Certificate and compliance with various state regulations and employment laws are required. Bids must be accompanied by bid security and a Certificate of Consent of Surety. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities if in the best interest of the Board, and to accept the bid from the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder.
