The scope of work includes the installation of a gravel pad, driveway, electrical service, design and construction of a 190 foot tall communication tower (including foundation), and installation of owner provided generator and communication building. This work includes site improvements, tower design and construction (including foundations), electrical work, and chain link fence installation. Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials (with exception of Owner provided equipment), tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all construction in accordance with the Contract Documents and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $125.00 from using project number 10116243. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Crawford County Department of Public Safety. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Crawford County Department of Public Safety to guarantee the bidders entrance into the contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes of the State of Pennsylvania or any applicable municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (for Contract value exceeding $25,000), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
