Saddleback High School Practice Field Synthetic Turf Replacement - Landscaping/Irrigation The project is for the Saddleback High School Practice Field Synthetic Turf Replacement, identified as Bid Package 01- Turf Replacement. The project is subject to the Community Workforce Agreement for Construction, Repair, Upgrade, Renovation, Modernization, Expansion, Rehabilitation and Improvement Work Projects dated June 27, 2017, between the District and various labor unions. The successful bidder and its subcontractors must be bound by the terms of the CWA section 00 73 49. Sealed bids are required, and any claim of error in a bid must comply with section 5100 et seq. of the Public Contract Code. Any bid submitted after the specified time will be considered non-responsive and returned. Contract documents, including plans and specifications for the project, are available through Crisp Imaging either for viewing/downloading or for purchase. Bidders must reference the project when requesting documents. The following contractors and subcontractors must be prequalified prior to bidding on this Project: All Prime Contractor Bidders, per Public Contract Code Section 20111.6; with the following license classifications: A, B, C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-27, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-39, C-42, C-43, C-46, C-61 and/or D-12. Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing Subcontractors performing work under the following license classifications: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. 12. As security for its bid, each bidder shall provide with its bid form A bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, Cash, or A cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Santa Ana Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within five (5) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. 13. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100 % Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project.
