Renovation of a municipal facility in Waupaca, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and municipal facility.
In general, the work consists of removal of existing spray applied polyurethane roof coating and underlying gravel surfaced BUR system down to the existing structural deck in the Central Services building. Provide a fully adhered EPDM roof system, prefinished sheet metal perimeter flashings/wall panels, and associated work. For the Security Building, remove and dispose of existing fully adhered EPDM in a select area and EPDM roofing with tapered sump along with scupper and downspout to repair area of ponding water. All potential bidders must be certified by the Department of Administration prior to submitting bids on state construction projects over $100,000. Bids from non-certified contractors will be rejected. The project is being let using the single prime bidding and contracting process. DFD will publicly bid the applicable mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection divisions of work first, and the successful MEP bids must be included in all general prime contractor bids. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the bid must accompany each bid submitted. A single lump sum bid for all work is required.
