Question deadline is 04/13/2026 at 04:00 PM School-wide painting at Tolenas Elementary School, including but not limited to painting of surfaces including dirty, stained, discolored, faded, peeled, cracked, or bubbled surfaces. All bids shall be on the form provided. Each bid must conform and be responsive to all pertinent contract documents, including, but not limited to, the Instruction to Bidders. Bidders are required to possess an active and in good standing C-33 (Painting and Decorating Contractor) license at the time of bid opening and throughout the contract. As bid security, each bidder shall provide with its bid a bid bond, cash, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder shall furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Bidders and subcontractors must pay prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit for all qualified bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a specified period after the bid opening.
