Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Erie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The project generally consists of the construction of a corrugated metal arch pipe culvert structure as well as the installation of riprap scour protection, guide rail, and general restoration activities. Bidders must be prequalified in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 102.01 and/or Township requirements. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent of the total bid must be submitted with each bid, or the bid will be rejected. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for up to 60 days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications prior to awarding the contract. Addenda will be issued only to those whose name and address are on record as having obtained the contract documents.
