Access Control at District Office & Maintenance & Operations, Transportation Offices - Security/Communications The scope of work consists of the installation and servicing of access control systems for doors at the District Office and Maintenance & Operations, Transportation Offices. Bidders must possess a State of California C-7 license and a Motorola Elite Channel Partner Certificate, and must be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. Each bid must be submitted using the District-provided forms and must include a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required. The successful bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All workers must be paid no less than the general prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. The project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any irregularity in any bid received. No bidder may withdraw its bid for ninety (90) days after the date of the bid opening. The successful bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the District to ensure contract performance.
