Renovation of a mixed-use development in Redwood City, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility; and educational facility.

The project consists of the replacement of roofing at B-Wing, Lenkurt Lab Building, Main Building-West, and Gym 3 building at Sequoia High School. Bidders must possess a State of California contractor's license (B and/or C-39), be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations, and maintain the license(s) in good standing throughout the contract. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided and be responsive to all contract documents, including the Instructions to Bidders. A bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid price must accompany the bid as a guarantee. The successful bidder is required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. Labor must be paid at prevailing rates, and the project is subject to labor compliance monitoring and enforcement. The District will award the contract, if at all, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. Questions received less than SEVEN (7) calendar days prior to the date for opening bids may not be answered. Time for Completion: District may issue a Notice to Proceed within NINETY (90) days from the date of the Notice of Award. Once Contractor has received the Notice to Proceed, Contractor shall complete the Work within the period of time indicated in the Contract Documents.
