As of June 5, 2026 no bids received no definite date for the rebid. The potential sites for array installations include: Amesville Sites Site A1: ~10.5 kW installed across from Amesville Elementary School (23 Main St.). Site A2: ~12 kW installed behind the Amesville Fire Department (16 Maple St.). Coolville Site Site C1: ~50+ kW installed on Rock Road behind Coolville Elementary School (26461 Main St.). The Project consists of all labor, materials, and services necessary to install solar photovoltaic systems at 2 sites within the Village of Amesville and 1 site within the Village of Coolville. In Amesville Site A1 is across from the Amesville Elementary School (23 Main St. Amesvile, OH 45711). Site A2 is behind the Amesville Fire Department (18 Maple St., Amesville, OH 45711). The location for solar photovoltaic panels in Coolville is on Rock Road behind the Coolville Elementary School (26405 Main St. Coolville, OH 45723). Proposals must limit their cost to below $320,000 while providing all labor, materials, and services to install solar photovoltaic systems at multiple sites in the Village of Amesville and the Village of Coolville. The project goals include: 1) Generate clean and renewable energy to offset operational costs. 2) Demonstrate commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. 3) Facilitate resiliency through potential back-up capability when the grid is down. 4) Provide an opportunity to shadow the installation process by recent participants in the grant-funded solar installer certification course hosted by the Village of Amesville.
