Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Boise, Idaho. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

The requirement is to expand the Boise VA Medical Center Emergency Department in two phases with a seamless transition, beginning with demolition and reconstruction of the existing Purple Team clinic while the current Emergency Department remains operational, followed by demolition and reconstruction of the existing Emergency Department to create a single larger, continuous space. Work includes all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to renovate 10,700 square feet within Building 85 on the first floor, expand and reconfigure the existing 5,700-square-foot emergency room to 8,900 square feet, and reconfigure or relocate 1,800 square feet of adjacent functions including the Admitting Office, corridors, and the Emergency Room waiting area. Utilities located within the building must be extended and connected from surrounding areas. Work includes demolition, phasing, structural elements, creation of new wall systems, flooring, painting, ceiling systems, installation of new windows and sashes, architectural finish work, millwork, mechanical systems including HVAC, hydronic, and digital controls, plumbing, medical gas, patient lifts, fireproofing, electrical, telecommunications, nurse call, security, fire alarm, fire protection sprinkler systems, and potential asbestos and lead abatement.
