The MTA Seeks Bids to Buy 1119 Pacific Street indicates that the Metropolitan Transportation Authority is issuing an RFP to sell its 30,000-square-foot parking lot at 1119 Pacific Street in Brooklyn for redevelopment. The site, rezoned under the Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan, can support approximately 300 housing units and up to 250,000 square feet of development when combined with 34,000 square feet of available air rights. The MTA is accepting proposals both with and without the air-rights transfer, with preference for submissions that include transit-accessibility improvements. Bids are due May 21.
