The City of Springfield is seeking qualified persons or firms to provide improvements to the Five Mile Pond Boat Launch at 980 Boston Road, Springfield, MA. The project includes the installation of sediment erosion controls, earthwork, paving, installation of fishing decks, fencing, installation of owner-furnished site furnishings, landscape improvements, and tree plantings. The estimated value of the contract is approximately $260,000.00. Interested bidders should be capable of providing all requested services. Minority and women (MWBE) participation is encouraged, and MA DLS and Federal Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage rates apply. All questions regarding the bid or specifications must be submitted in writing to the Office of Procurement by the specified deadline. The Chief Procurement Officer/Designee reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
