Renovation of a detention facility in Portage, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Columbia County hereby requests sealed bids for the replacement of AHU #4 at the County Jail located at 403 Jackson Street, Portage, WI 53901. BID BOND In accordance with Wisconsin Statutes Section 779.14(1m)(e), Bonds are required for the work. A 5% Bid Bond shall be delivered with the Bid on the date due. Columbia County (County) hereby requests sealed bids for the replacement of AHU #4 at the County Jail located at 403 Jackson Street, Portage, WI 53901. More information can be found on the County Bid Form on pages 9- 10. Diagrams and pictures can be found on Appendix A. QUESTIONS For interpretation or correction of any of the bid material, a request may be made to Jason Willemarck, Facilities Management Director, at (608) 742-9807 or jason.willemarck@columbiacountywi.gov. Any questions should be received no later than Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (CST). Questions received after that time will not be considered. Questions and answers will be posted to Euna Open Bids online and the County's website by 4:30 p.m. (CST) on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
