Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Portage, Wisconsin. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway, sidewalk / parking lot and water / sewer project.

The work includes approximately 2,450 lineal feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main with all appurtenances, fittings, and services; approximately 2,400 lineal feet of 8-inch PVC SDR 35 sanitary sewer main with all manholes, laterals, and connections; approximately 330 lineal feet of storm sewer of various sizes and materials with all structures and connections; approximately 2,350 linear feet of roadway reconstruction including removals, intersections, concrete curb and gutter, spot repairs, concrete waterways, sidewalk spot repairs and curb ramps, dense graded base, 4-inch asphaltic pavement, and epoxy pavement markings; and all other surface, grading, erosion control, traffic control, clearing and grubbing, removals, and turf restoration work. Bid Alternate A provides for replacing ductile iron water main with PVC C900 water main, 1-inch copper water services with 1-inch HDPE water services, and includes tracer wire for the water main with all appurtenances. Bid Alternate B includes installation of approximately 2,550 lineal feet of Void Reducing Asphalt Membrane (VRAM) on the longitudinal joint between binder and surface lifts of proposed asphaltic concrete pavement. Bidders must provide bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid price. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. Minimum wages to be paid shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
