Site work for a water / sewer project in Portage, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the removal and replacement of 26 exterior water gate valves and restoring asphalt, concrete, and landscape areas as needed to replace the valves. Bidders must be certified by the DOA prior to submitting bids, and all bids from uncertified contractors will be rejected. Sealed bids may be submitted as a PDF via the eBuilder Bidding Portal (preferred), by US Mail or third-party delivery to the specified address, or by hand delivery to the designated drop box. The bidder is responsible for ensuring the sealed bid is delivered or submitted before the specified deadline. Construction bidding documents are available as downloadable electronic files from the Division of Facilities Development website. No deposit is required to obtain bidding documents. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically via eBuilder. Prevailing wage requirements under Wisconsin law no longer apply, but federal Davis Bacon Act requirements remain unaffected.
