Columbia County is seeking qualified contractors to replace the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system at the County Jail in Portage, WI. The project includes removal of the existing UPS, installation of a new 30kVa/27kW 208V 3-phase system, and full compliance with safety, technical, and operational standards. Columbia County (County) hereby requests sealed bids for the replacement of Uninterruptable Power Source (UPS) at the County Jail located at 403 Jackson Street, Portage, WI 53901. PRE-BID SITE VISIT *Anyone attending must submit a photo ID for a background check to jason.willemarck@columbiacountywi.gov at least three (3) days prior to the meeting. QUESTIONS For interpretation or correction of any of the bid material, a request may be made to Jason Willemarck, Facilities Management Director, at (608) 742-9807 or jason.willemarck@columbiacountywi.gov. Any questions should be received no later than Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. (CST). Questions received after that time will not be considered. Questions and answers will be posted to Euna Open Bids/DemandStar and the County's website by 4:30 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. UPS system needs to accommodate the following: o System Capacity: 30kVa/27kw 208V 3-phase UPS system. o Input/Output Voltage: 208/120V (3W + N + G) - single or dual feed. o Redundant Internal VRLA Battery Strings - provide 11 minutes of runtime at Full System Load (30kVa), and 35 minutes of runtime at 12 kVa of Load (.9PF). o Include SNMP Communications Card with UPS and external battery cabinet. o Include 1-year parts & labor warranty to include UPS, batteries, 24x7 onsite start up service, PM's. o Include Tech Support 24x7 Onsite for removal of existing and installation of new UPS. o Include 24x7 onsite startup of UPS by Manufacture. o Include removal and disposal of existing UPS from customer dock. o Include dock to dock shipping. o Provide all spec sheets for UPS to include O&M's, installation drawings, power requirements. o UPS Manufacturer must have a (EOSL) end of service life grader than 15 years and supported OEM for same period of time from Manufacture date. o All contractors and employees must submit photo ID for background checks prior to project start to jason.willemarck@columbiacountywi.gov. o All invoices must have all the specifics for the project listing on the invoice with dates of completion. o Bid bond required.
