Site work and new construction of an industrial development in Ashville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a industrial development; and for site work for a industrial development.
The work includes caulking and concrete work within the limits of the site as described in the General Scope of Work. Bids must be submitted on the provided Bid Form(s), along with required documents such as the E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding, Certificate of Compliance with the Beason-Hammon Act, and insurance information. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the St. Clair County Commission in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, up to $10,000, must accompany the proposal. If the bid amount is over $50,000, a copy of the general contractor's license is required. The bid envelope must be sealed and display the word "BID," project name, bidder's name, license number, classification, and expiration date on the face. Bids must show evidence of authority and qualification to perform the work in the state, or a covenant to obtain such qualification prior to contract award. Bids received after the specified opening time will not be considered and will be returned unopened. The St. Clair County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality or irregularity, and accept the bid deemed most advantageous.
