Sealed Bids are requested for the construction of the 2026 Water Resources Water Distribution System Improvements. The Project consists of, but is not limited to: replacement of up to 2,500 linear feet of water main and appurtenances, paving, surface restoration, approved traffic control measures, and all necessary work as required in the contract documents. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidders must obtain electronic Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office and be on the Plan Holder list. Bid security must be furnished as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must submit proof of qualifications to perform the work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The project is funded in part through the Vermont Drinking and/or Clean Water State Revolving Fund and must comply with requirements such as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, American Iron and Steel (AIS) provisions, Federal Wage Rates under the Davis-Bacon Act, and Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements. Burlington-specific provisions also apply, including the City Livable Wage Ordinance, Union Deterrence Ordinance, Outsourcing Ordinance, and Public Health Emergency Provisions.
