Project No. 0102-0372 The scope of work for the deck includes removing the existing bituminous pavement to patch the concrete deck and repair the deck ends at joints. After repairs, the deck will receive a spray-applied waterproof membrane, new bituminous overlay and new asphaltic plug joints. The superstructure scope of work includes repairing areas of steel deterioration at the girder ends and end diaphragms. The steel girder ends and areas of steel repair will be thoroughly cleaned and painted. The existing expansion rocker bearings and sliding plate bearings will be replaced at Bridge No. 00058. Fixed bearings will be repaired either by cleaning and painting the bearing or by replacement. The substructure scope of work includes patching the existing substructure, replacing eroded material at the abutments, and removing graffiti. Pedestrian improvements to the sidewalk on Bridge No. 03563 have also been included. All remaining concrete haunches will be removed and drip shields installed over MNR electrical and communication lines. This contract is scheduled to be advertised on May 13, 2026, with a scope of "J". - $ 15,000,000 - $ 19,999,999 The CTDOT, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel this solicitation and terminate the process to retain consultant services, and is under no obligation to contract for the services specified herein. The CTDOT reserves the right to add other assignments of a similar nature to this selection process should the need arise prior to the interview phase.
