The proposed work includes the following major items: 10 pile repairs and 403 square feet of new dock. Plans, specifications, and proposal forms may be secured at the office of Bryson & Yates Consulting Engineers, LLC. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the amount of the bid, not to exceed $20,000, made payable to the Township of Greenwich. All blank spaces in the proposal must be filled in, and any erasures or changes on the bid form must be initialed or signed by the bidder. The successful bidder must furnish within ten days after the award a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent of the contract price. All surety bonds or LOCs must be from a company listed on the Federal Treasury List and authorized to do business in New Jersey. Bidders must comply with affirmative action requirements, the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other relevant state statutes. Bids must be prepared on standard proposal forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled "REPAUPO CREEK FISHING DOCK REHABILITATION," and addressed to the Township of Greenwich Clerk. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, or to accept the bid that best serves their interest.
