Electronic or sealed bids for a 4,000 kVA voltage regulator for Greenidge Substation (material only) are solicited. Specifications and bidding documents can be examined at the office of the General Manager, Columbus Light and Water Department, or obtained from the project engineer for a non-refundable deposit. Official bid documents can also be downloaded, and electronic bids are allowed. Each bid must be submitted in duplicate as per the instructions to bidders found in the Project Manual. For electronic bids, documents must be in PDF format and match paper bid content. Bids with corrupted attachments will be void. The owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. Bids may be held for up to 30 days or until after the Board of Commission's meeting. No bidder may withdraw a bid for thirty days post-opening. The contract award will be contingent on meeting the goal of 25% minority business participation, and MWBEs are encouraged to participate with evidence included in the proposal. All bidders are encouraged to respond.
