The City of Montrose is requesting formal proposals or bids through the Request for Proposal process to replace the irrigation system at Rotary Park. Question Deadline 04/09/2026 at 5:00 PM MT For this bid the contact is Parks Superintendent Jon Waschbusch: jwaschbusch@cityofmontrose.org The project includes the installation of the irrigation system, the replacement of the pump house and pump station, and installation of a new intake from the adjacent water source. Work shall also include the removal of the existing sprinklers, valve boxes, pump house, pump station and intake piping. All work types and equipment needed to complete the project described in the documents below such as excavation, licensed electrical, pipe fitting, pump assembly, concrete forming and placing and others as needed are to be included in the total pricing to provide the complete installation and start up. The project site experiences significant pedestrian use and adjoins a middle school. Control of the site and appropriate safety measures to assure the safety of the public during all phases of construction are required of the successful bidder. Site control measures may include temporary closure of the pedestrian trail within the site. Any closures shall be coordinated in advance with the owner.
