Sealed proposals will be received for the following contracts: EDP Contract for furnishing and placing approximately 18,000 gallons of EDP, Dust Palliative. Material Contract for supplying approximately 325 tons of Anti-Skid, AS2; 2,500 tons of 2A Subbase; 10 tons of #8 Course Aggregate; and 500 tons of #3 Course Aggregate. All work and materials must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be submitted using the forms provided by the Municipality. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% (50% for Material Contract) of the contract are required from the lowest responsible bidder. Proof of worker's compensation insurance is required. A bid bond in the amount of 10% of the contract is required from all bidders. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. EDP Dust Palliative Furnish and apply material in accordance with the PennDOT Bulletin 15 (Publication 35) Section 702 Asphalt Materials, Bulletin 25 Specifications For Asphalt Materials and as directed by the Municipality. Note: Incidental to the above items: Mobilization and Traffic Control according to the Publication 408 Section 901. All work must be completed in accordance with the current PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and its supplement.
