Site work for a water / sewer project in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The following is a general outline of the scope of work and is intended to highlight the major aspects of the project. It is not intended to include all the work required to be performed. Using this outline, refer to the contract drawings and specifications herein for the full extent of the work to be performed under this contract. The scope of the work generally shall be as follows Removals of surface features as indicated in the contract drawings Excavate and dispose of excess soil and waste materials in accordance with applicable legislation Install Piling and concrete brackets in accordance with the contract drawings Install lightweight fill as shown in the contract drawings Construction and Restoration of surface features The Contractor shall visit the location and review and verify all dimensions prior to ordering any materials. Any discrepancies or problems shall be reported to the Engineer immediately. The Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and providing power for construction. No additional payment will be made by the Owner for costs associated with fees, permits, connections to the grid, power costs and any cost associated with the provision of power.
