Furnish all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, and services for asphalt repairs at Sandburg and Washington Elementary Schools. Prime contractors must be present at both sites for a mandatory site visit. The estimate is between $720,000 and $760,000. The District requires that Bidders possess any of the following classification(s) of California State Contractors License(s), valid and in good standing: A, or C-12, or other appropriate license, subject to District approval. Bids must be submitted electronically and in accordance with all terms, conditions, plans, specifications, drawings, and bid package documents, and be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid value. Prime contractors must be prequalified to submit a bid. Prequalification applications must be submitted to the District at least 5 business days before the bid opening. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. A minimum Disabled Veteran Business participation percentage of 3% is required for this project.
