The project consists of, but is not limited to, providing all new components and replacing the existing mounted AWOS III PT equipment and sensors. The system shall be installed at the existing AWOS tower location, using the existing AWOS tip down tower, H-Frames, and associated concrete bases, conduit, and power service. All contractors will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of the owner’s race, color, national origin, sex, creed, age, or disability. The proposed contract is also under and subject to the following federal clauses: Government-wide Debarment and Suspension, Government-wide Requirements for Drug-free Workplace, Foreign Trade Restrictions, Buy American Preference, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Requirements. The requirements of 49 CFR Part 26, including any amendments thereto, apply to this contract. It is the policy of Kemmerer City to practice nondiscrimination based on race, color, sex, or national origin. The Owner encourages participation by all firms qualifying under this solicitation. All required Federal Clauses, labor provisions, and wage rates are included in the specifications and bid documents. Each bidder must supply all required information and furnish the Statement of Bidders Pre-Qualifications with satisfactory evidence of competency to perform the work. Kemmerer City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive any informalities or irregularities, postpone the award of the Contract, and accept the proposal that is in its best interest. The award of the Bid is contingent upon the receipt of Federal funding.
