Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Palo Alto, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

This project will install new access control, door hardware, and ADA automatic door operators on the Bryant Street Community Center front doors and the interior La Comida entry door. Front Doors: - Remove existing lock hardware and plug cylinder hole. - Install new Von Duprin surface mounted electrified crash bar hardware on both doors. - Install new Von Duprin outside trim with IC core. - Install new ADA automatic door operator that controls both doors. Operator will be LCN, Motion Access or approved equal. Will include 36" interior and exterior push buttons. - Install card access that locks and unlocks both front doors. AMAG Symmetry controller will be a four-door controller to provide for future access control doors. - Provide two push button remotes that can be used to lock and unlock the front doors. - City will provide 120 volt power for door operator. La Comida Interior Entry Door: - Install new ADA automatic door operator on interior entry door. Operator will be LCN, Motion Access or approved equal. Will include 36" inside and outside push buttons. - Install key switch in door frame that holds door in open position. - City will provide 120 volt power for door operator. It is anticipated that Work on the Project will be required to commence on or about 07/01/2026. The anticipated time of completion is within fourteen working days (14) after the commencement date specified in City's Notice to Proceed. The prime contractor for this work shall possess a valid State of California Contractor's License in the following category or categories: General B, or C-10, or C-7, or C28 For all Bids greater than $25,000, Bidders shall submit a Bid security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the Bid including all Bid Alternates. Bid security shall be submitted on or before the Bid due date, in accordance with the Bid Security section of this IFB. Question Deadline 04/03/2026 at 1:00 PM PT Any Bidder may submit to the Contract Administrator for this IFB a written request for the clarification of any aspect of the Project Specifications or any other related information, or part thereof, which is a part of the IFB. Such request shall be submitted electronically. The City shall electronically respond using the online procurement system at least three (3) Business Days prior to the opening of Bids.
