The Upper Partrick Road Rehabilitation project consists of crack sealing the upper part of the Partrick Road and a lower section of Partrick Road overlayed four years ago. The upper portion of Partrick Road will see three culvert replacements, stitch pile walls to support the roadway, leveling asphalt, bike lane signs and markings, ditch cleaning, and a full overlay. There is also a bid alternate for a 1-1/2" inch overlay for a 1300 foot section between the upper and lower portions of Partrick Road. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished by the Napa County Engineer and is made in accordance with the provisions of the proposal requirements and conditions set forth under the Standard Specifications of the State California, Department of Transportation, except as modified in the above referred to Special Provisions. Each bidder must be licensed as required by law at the time the contract is awarded. The contractor and any subcontractors shall be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations (Public Works Contractor (PWC) Registration) at the time of bid opening. This work shall be diligently prosecuted to completion before the expiration of fifty (50) WORKING DAYS beginning on the date shown on the Notice to Proceed. These allowed working days exclude the submittal review and approval process. Bid alternate #1 and Bid Alternate #2 shall receive an additional 8 eight, and 4 four days respectively if awarded. No DBE goal. No trainees required.
