Site work for a development in Napa, California. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
The work shall include but may not be limited to The project is in a segment of Bale Slough - Bear Creek located just east of State Highway 29 in Napa County. The work will consist of demolition, excavation and off haul of organic material, grading, construction of biotechnical stabilization structures and habitat features, installation and maintenance of native plants, and deployment of erosion control measures. The project location is: 6 miles north of the Town of Yountville Question Deadline 05/26/2026 at 4:30 PM PT A bidder or proposer who is not selected for contract award may protest the award of the contract to another bidder or proposer by submitting a written protest. The project includes creek and native plant restoration, which involves grading, installation of woody debris structures, irrigation design and installation, planting, plant maintenance, and monitoring. Bids are required for the entire work as detailed in the Plans and Specifications. Bidders must submit electronic responses via the County e-Procurement Portal. Bids must be valid for 90 days from the date they are opened. Partial or contingent bids will not be considered. Engineer Estimate: $1,664,000 Each bidder must be licensed in accordance with the law at the time the contract is awarded. The contractor and any subcontractors must be registered with the State of California Department of Industrial Relations at the time of bid opening. Bidders are required to attend a mandatory job walk. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price. Contractors must possess a Class A license at the time of contract award. Bidders must monitor issued addendums, submit inquiries via the e-Procurement Portal, and follow other instructions as indicated in the project documentation. The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
