The base bid consists of the pavement removal of Taxilane Seacoast 1 and full depth reconstruction of the subbase, base, and asphalt at Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport (SFM). The work for Taxilane Seacoast 1 also includes drainage improvements, new marking, and new electrical. The project also includes the installation of a new vehicle service road adjacent to the Runway 14 end and the removal of the existing service road. Major construction elements include but are not limited to: mobilization, pavement removal, marking removal, subbase installation, base installation, pavement installation, airfield electrical installation, drainage improvements, pavement markings, safety plan compliance, and other ancillary work. Bid Proposals must be submitted in a SEALED envelope, clearly marked with the Schedule and Title, the proposer's name, the Bidder's address, and the time and date of the bid opening. Bids submitted by parcel delivery services must have the SEALED envelope containing the Bid Proposal placed inside the shipping carton. All bids must be accompanied by a Proposal Surety (cash, certified check, treasurer's or cashier's check, Bid Bond, or other acceptable instrument). All prospective Bidders, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Suppliers must direct all inquiries solely to the designated project contact. Electronic Bidding Procedures as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders must be followed. A successful Bidder must provide sufficient surety in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds.
