Sealed bids are invited for the WTP No. 3 Chlorination Upgrade project. Bids must be submitted in triplicate and enclosed in a sealed envelope endorsed with the bid number and project name. Bids should be received at the Office of the Procurement Manager, 800 Seminole Road, Atlantic Beach, Florida, 32233, by 2:45 p.m. on the specified date. Any bid received after this deadline will not be considered. Bid specifications are available for public inspection and can be obtained from the city's website or by contacting the Procurement Manager. The work consists of the demolition and removal of the existing gas chlorine tanks, gas detection equipment, fill equipment, hoist, crane rail, solenoids, injection systems and all associated control systems. The Contractor shall furnish and install two (2) 500-gallon double-walled liquid chlorine storage tanks, complete with chemical feed pumps and all required valves, piping, supports and appurtenances. The work shall also include all necessary electrical conduit, wiring, control systems and panels required to provide a complete and fully operational chlorine storage and feed system as described in the Contract Documents.
