Renovation of a municipal facility in Redding, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Question Deadline 04/14/2026 at 2:00 PM PT . Questions regarding this IFPQ must be submitted in writing . Written questions must include the individual's name, firm name, complete address, and must reference IFPQ No. 02A2475. Questions must be sent to the following email: Email: Kae.Saechin@dot.ca.gov an estimated value of greater than $5,000.00, but not more than $461,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, parts, materials, supplies, travel, permits, fees, and incidentals necessary to perform removal, legal disposal, and replacement services of doors and door frames. A. Contractor shall remove and legally dispose of the 14 previous doors and door frame on the Special Crews Building and Maintenance/Landscape Building at the Caltrans Redding MS. B. Contractor shall field verify the door sizes and fire ratings of existing doors before the start of work. C. Contractor shall confirm the color of the doors prior to ordering or painting. (one color will be chosen for entire group of doors being replaced) Caltrans Contract Manager approval shall be required prior to ordering. D. After receiving a Notice to Proceed from Caltrans Contract Manager in writing, Contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1) Contractor shall identify the doors to be measured and confirm door type prior to ordering. 2) Contractor shall schedule each door removal and reinstallation. 3) Contractor shall verify doors are of equal standard or better than current doors. (Like and kind with equal fire rating where applicable.) 4) Contractor will need to coordinate with Caltrans' contract manager for access to facility to ensure security and safety of all employees. E. Contractor shall complete and invoice all work within four (4) months of the Notice to Proceed unless approved in writing by Caltrans Contract Manager. F. Contractor shall use materials free from defects which would adversely affect the performance or maintainability of individual components or of the overall assembly. G. Materials not specified shall be of equivalent or better quality used for the intended purpose per industry standards. H. Unless otherwise stated, all equipment, material, and articles incorporated in the work covered by this Agreement are to be new. I. Contractor shall perform all work according to manufacturer, industry standards, Federal, State, and local building codes. J. Contractor shall verify all measurements prior to ordering any material. All work and materials provided shall comply with all current Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. K. Contractor shall only use qualified trained personnel on job site, and no day labor shall be used.
