** As of June 26, 2026, bids were canceled. No definite date for the rebid.** The project is for the construction of the Kitchen Hood Replacement at Pacheco Elementary School. Bids will be received for the award of a contract based on the base bid amount. The project requires compliance with prevailing wage requirements as provided by law, and contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work as defined by the Labor Code. Each bidder must attend a mandatory pre-bid site visit and submit a sealed bid accompanied by a bidder’s bond, cashier’s check, or certified check for at least ten percent of the base bid. The successful bidder must provide a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each for one hundred percent of the contract sum, and must possess a Class “B” license at the time of award and throughout the completion of the contract. The deadline for project completion is July 31st, 2026. Bids must be submitted to Semingson Architecture & Engineering, Inc. Bids not conforming to the requirements, including attendance at the pre-bid site visit, will be disqualified. Only licensed contractors will be considered. The bid opening location and time, as well as other submission requirements, are specified.
