Shasta College 100 Building Demo & Abatement. Bidders must submit proposals on the forms provided. Bid and Contract Documents are available electronically without charge, or as paper files upon request with payment for reproduction. Each Bid Proposal must include: Alternate Bid Items Proposal Form (if applicable), Subcontractors List, Verification of Contractor and Subcontractor DIR Registration, Statement of Qualifications, Non-Collusion Affidavit, and required Bid Security. All contractors and subcontractors must pay at least the applicable prevailing wage rates. Each bidder and listed subcontractors must be DIR Registered Contractors at the time of bid submission. Bidders must possess C22 Asbestos Abatement, Lead Removal per Title 17 California Code of Regulations contractor's license. Substantial completion must be achieved as set by the Contract Documents, with liquidated damages for delays. Bid security of at least 10% of the maximum bid amount is required. Pricing for all Alternate Bid Items must be proposed, and the lowest bid will be determined based on the Base Bid and Alternate Bid Item No. One. Bids may not be withdrawn for 30 days after opening. Attendance at the mandatory Job Walk is required for bid consideration. Pre-bid inquiries must be submitted by email four days prior to the bid deadline. Only one executed copy each of the Agreement, Performance Bond, and Labor & Materials Payment Bond is required. Contract award will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
