This project consists of the cleaning of debris, sludge, grit, and scum from the interior of the headworks wet well, bar screen channel, influent chamber, and overflow chamber. After the grit has been removed, the wet well, channel, and chambers; the walls, invert, and piping shall be power washed. Bidders may not qualify any of the specifications. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to the Municipal Authority of the City of Monongahela or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid, to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the Bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes or municipal ordinances. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 04/13/2026 at 4:00 PM ET
