The work consists of the Pomo and Eastlake Elementary School Painting Project. Bidders must complete their bid on the provided Bid Proposal Form, conform to the invitation, plans, and specifications, and submit a bid security in the form of cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Bidders must execute the contract and provide required payment and performance bonds and insurance within ten days of notification of award. All workers must be paid at least the prevailing wage rates as specified by the Department of Industrial Relations. The contractor and subcontractors must comply with labor code provisions concerning prevailing wages and apprenticeship programs. The successful bidder must possess a California State Contractor's C-33 Painting Contractors License at the time of award. Each bid must include the name and business location of each subcontractor performing more than one-half of one percent of the bid amount and describe the type of work performed by each listed subcontractor. The project is subject to prevailing wage compliance monitoring and enforcement. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities.
