Site work and paving for a road / highway in Spring Green, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are requested for 1) chip sealcoating with pea stone gravel and/or 2) asphalt paver patch pavement wedging along various township roads. The work must be completed and accepted before or by October 1, 2026. The contractor is required to review specified town roads to understand the work conditions and scope. The contractor must measure, quote, and submit pricing for each listed roadway. Specific road segments are provided for both chip sealcoating and asphalt hot mix paver patch work. Asphalt paver patch wedging is to restore a 2% normal roadway crown for drainage, and bids must state the amount of paver patch wedging based on tonnage for each road. Two wedge patching methods are required: half lane wedges for distressed edges, and full lane wedges for significant settlement or cracking. Field measurements and calculations must be provided and submitted with bids, detailing area estimates and tonnage required. Bidders must base their quote on a cost per ton and provide a total cost for each roadway segment. The Town Board reserves the right to reject, accept, or waive any bids or portions thereof as deemed most advantageous.
