This project will provide for the slurry sealing, 1.5” grind and overlay, and full-depth reclamation of various streets in the City of Cypress within the City right-of-way. The scope of work for this project includes, but shall not be limited to, the following: mobilization, surveying, traffic control, cold milling of existing pavement to accommodate the proposed section, full-depth reclamation (FDR) and cement stabilization to construct a cement stabilized pulverized base (CSPB), moisture conditioning and compaction of the CSPB, and placement of a 4-inch minimum thickness of asphalt concrete (AC), edge grind, full-width & half-width cold milling, crack sealing, remove and replace AC paving, removal of existing traffic striping and markers, Type I Rubber Polymer Modified Slurry Seal (RPMS), ARHM overlay, adjust manhole to grade, replace traffic striping, markers, curb paint, and other incidental items of work. Instructions to bidders include providing a bid electronically, including a bid bond (10%), payment bond (100%), performance bond (100%), Bidder Acknowledgement Form, Information Required of Bidders, Certification of Non-Discrimination and Affirmative Action, and Noncollusion Affidavit.
