Site work and paving for a road / highway in Siren, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work shall include pulverizing existing bituminous pavement to a depth specified by the Burnett County Highway Department. Pulverized material shall remain in place to be reshaped for future roadway improvements. Contractors shall provide all labor, equipment, fuel, and incidentals necessary to complete the pulverizing operations. Projects will be scheduled and coordinated with the Burnett County Highway Department. Contractors shall provide pricing for pulverizing existing asphalt pavement (price per square yard) and for optional grading of pulverized material (overall cost, lump sum). Bids must clearly state price per square yard for pulverizing and overall cost for optional grading. Contractors must provide proof of insurance and demonstrate experience operating pulverizing equipment suitable for roadway rehabilitation. Burnett County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the County.
