The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, and performing all work required for saw cutting, final grading, and hot-mix asphalt pavement installation. The work is to be done for the Four Rivers Sanitation Authority (FRSA) and includes finish grading of aggregate base course and installation of hot-mix asphalt patches of the specified thickness and size. The work must be performed according to the General Provisions and Technical Specifications for Sanitary Sewer Construction of FRSA and the current Illinois Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Bidders are instructed that they must have a permanent business office within forty (40) miles of FRSA's office at 3501 Kishwaukee Street in Rockford, Illinois. Each proposal must be accompanied by an FRSA Bid Bond form with acceptable bid security of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. The successful bidder is required to furnish a performance bond for the full amount of the bid. No bid may be withdrawn without FRSA's consent for sixty (60) days after the bid deadline. FRSA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or to accept any bid or part thereof, or waive any formalities as deemed to be in FRSA's best interest.
