Demolition, site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Augusta, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary to construct an AWOS III (P T) at Augusta Municipal Airport. The work includes furnishing and installing AWOS III (P T) in accordance with FAA standards, including AWOS monitoring system, miscellaneous electrical conduits, pull boxes, wiring, footings, and other miscellaneous items to provide a complete and commissioned operating system. The project also involves the decommissioning and removal of the existing AWOS, embankment in place (approximately 856 cubic yards), 4-inch subbase course (approximately 748 square yards), 6-inch concrete (approximately 95 square yards), 2-inch schedule 40 conduit (approximately 1,175 linear feet), electrical service, fencing, erosion control, seeding, and mulching. Contractors bidding need not be pre-qualified but shall be qualified to do the work.
