Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work under this CONTRACT shall consist of traffic modeling, conducting traffic turning movement counts, and developing and implementing signal timing and coordination plans. Signal timings will be monitored and adjusted during the IH 41 diversions. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the Waukesha County Department of Public Works have executed a formal agreement to collaborate on the I-41 Zoo Freeway project (Silver Spring Dr to Good Hope Rd) to enhance safety and mobility for travelers in Waukesha County. The development of a comprehensive, cost effective Transportation Management Plan (TMP) is required to maintain safety, accessibility, and mobility for the traveling public during construction. The TMP will cover I 41 from Silver Spring Drive to Good Hope Road in Milwaukee County and include evaluation and implementation of local alternate and detour routes within approximately two miles of the interstate corridor.
