Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dayton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are requested for the 2026 Annual Pavement Marking Program, County Wide, Job #2026-40. All work must be performed in accordance with plans and specifications. Only contractors currently pre-qualified in the proper work types by the Ohio Department of Transportation are eligible to bid, and must possess work types equal to at least 60% of the total submitted bid price. Bids may be submitted via the Bid Express website or as a paper bid in a sealed envelope. Contractors selecting the paper bid method must arrange for pickup and payment of documents, allowing up to three business days for printing. Bid guaranty must be submitted either as a bond for the full amount, or as a certified check, cashier's check, electronic bid bond, or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent of the bid, with successful bidders supplying a performance bond for the full contract amount. The Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County, Ohio must be named as obligees on all bonds. Contractors must comply with domestic steel use requirements and are encouraged to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. For digital submissions, a digital ID must be obtained in advance from Bid Express. Submission requires a $40 payment per bid or a $50 monthly unlimited bidding subscription.
