Renovation of a mixed-use development in Unalaska, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development; and clubhouse / community center.

The project involves the replacement of existing lighting systems with energy-efficient LED lighting in the following facilities: Unalaska Community Center, Burma Road Chapel, Henry Swanson House, and the Aquatic Center. The selected contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to: - Remove and properly dispose of existing lighting fixtures and components - Supply and install new LED lighting fixtures throughout each facility - Retrofit or replace fixtures as needed to comply with current electrical and energy codes - Ensure that all lighting meets the appropriate illumination levels for each space - Minimize any disruption to facility operations during installation - Conduct testing, commissioning, and make final adjustments of installed systems - Provide product data, warranties, and as-built documentation upon project completion Proposers are required to demonstrate experience with commercial or municipal LED retrofit projects, possess the appropriate business licensing, and knowledge of relevant codes and standards. Proposals must include a company background, project approach and timeline, detailed cost estimate, and product specifications for the proposed LED fixtures. All materials must be made in America as required by federal grant requirements. Proposals must be received by the specified deadline. The City of Unalaska reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and accept the proposal deemed in the city's best interest.
