A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct the FY 2026 Pavement Improvements as shown on the construction drawings. The construction generally includes thermoplastic striping and raised pavement markers for approximately 3.83 miles of roadway and all associated measures for the complete project. All work must be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications, within 180 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion and 194 consecutive calendar days for contract close-out. The contract will be awarded in one contract. Bids must be submitted by pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractors with the license number shown on the face of the bid envelope. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified cashier's check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Contractors and subcontractors must comply with the federal E-Verify program and submit the required affidavit. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and re-advertise as needed. QA date - 4-20-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent ofthe Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening ofBids may not be answered.
