Project includes revitalizing the Lala Regira Field through foundation improvements and general site enhancements to improve the safety, playability, and overall appearance of the field. All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents on file. Contractors desiring to bid are required to submit evidence of a Louisiana State Contractors License in full force and effect with a major classification of Building Construction or Municipal and Public Works Construction. Contractors with classifications for Rigging, House Moving, Wrecking and Dismantling or Demolition Work may perform such work only as subcontractors to a properly licensed prime contractor. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check for not more than five percent of the estimated price of supplies or materials. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes stating the name of the bidder, address, state license number, and project name. Electronic bids must include Uniform Bid Form, Bid Bond, and Corporate Resolution. Original bid bond and corporate resolution documents must be received no later than 48 hours after bid opening. Bidders are responsible for checking for updates and submitting all required documents identified in the contract documents within 10 days after the opening of bids. Sureties for bonds must be acceptable according to the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. Award is subject to final approval.
