Renovation of a municipal facility in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

All questions regarding this project and the bid package shall be submitted to the Purchasing Department via purchasing@apgov.us by 4:00 PM on April 30, 2026 This project will consist of various renovations to the Donaldsonville Courthouse. The work includes, but is not limited to: removal and disposal of 35 existing windows including hauling all debris off-site; temporarily sealing 35 window openings using plywood and Visqueen to create a watertight seal; supplying and installing custom Epic Wood Double Hung windows, Auralast Pine, pre-primed, in specified sizes and quantities (including 1 at 46 x 82, 3 at 50 x 87, 3 at 56 x 114 two-wide with transom, 2 at 43 x 114, and 24 other windows to be replaced); lightly sanding and applying two coats of interior/exterior latex paint to all newly installed and pre-existing windows, including painting the interior side trim; and additional renovations as included in the bid specifications. All bids must be in accordance with the contract documents available at the Ascension Parish Purchasing Department. Specifications, bid documents, contract documents, and construction drawings may be obtained from the Purchasing Department. Documents can be mailed to bidders with a provided shipping account number. No refunds for returned drawings. Only licensed contractors or their authorized representatives may obtain contract documents, and no documents will be issued within 72 hours of the bid deadline. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name, address, contractor's state license number, and the project name. If mailed, the sealed envelope must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Purchasing Department and received by bid opening. Bid security of five percent of the total bid is required, made payable to the owner. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any/all bids. No bids may be withdrawn for 45 days after opening. All questions about the project and bid package must be sent to the Purchasing Department. Electronic bids must be submitted via www.centralauctionhouse.com prior to the deadline. All relevant addenda, amendments, and notices will be posted online; it is the bidder's responsibility to check for updates. Bid bonds for electronic bids must be submitted per the outlined process, including timely submission of the original bid bond document.
