Renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The City of Richmond is accepting bids from contractors experienced in T-Form concrete construction for repairs to the 3rd Police Precinct Parking Deck. The work includes cleaning and painting existing steel elements, joint repairs, concrete repairs, and other miscellaneous repairs as detailed in the project plans. The project consists of repairs to the 3rd Precinct Parking Garage as shown on the Plans. Work under the Base Bid includes, but is not limited to, the following: A. Concrete surface repairs B. Shear connector replacement C. Sealant removal and replacement D. Concrete crack repairs All questions regarding this solicitation shall be asked via the question-and-answer feature in portal. During the solicitation phase, contact with City officials or representatives of the City shall be limited to City staff from the Department of Procurement Services (DPS). The DPS main point of contact for this solicitation is Freddy Sharpe, Freddy.Sharpe@rva.gov. It is the official goal of the City or Richmond to increase the dollar value of all contracts awarded to minority business enterprise and emerging small business (MBE/ESB) contractors and subcontractors to the highest level that is reasonably achievable for any particular field of contracting. The 8% MBE/ESB Participation Goal is not mandatory, however the City of Richmond strongly encourages efforts to meet the 8% participation goal.
