Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Greenwich, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a 133,500-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The project includes the construction of an approximately 133,500 SF new Central Middle School. The scope consists of constructing a new building with gymnasium, auditorium, cafeteria, and classroom spaces on the north portion of the site, where existing fields are currently located. The existing building will remain occupied until the new facility is complete and will then be demolished. Construction will be phased to keep the current facility operational. Final site work will involve access lanes, parking, athletic fields, and all necessary drainage, utilities, and connections. Bidders must submit sealed, lump sum bids for the project. A bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, using the provided form, must accompany each bid. The surety must be approved to operate in Connecticut. Successful bidders must provide 100% Dual Obligee Payment bonds. The Board of Education and Turner Construction reserve the right to waive informalities and/or reject any unqualified bids. Bidders are responsible for ensuring inclusion in bidder notifications. All bids will be publicly opened. Minority/Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. The contract is subject to state set-aside and contract compliance requirements. Bidder Question Deadline is April 6th, 2026
